Course Curriculum

Platform: Code.org
This program will introduce students to the fundamentals of coding in a fun and interactive way. By exploring foundational concepts like loops, functions, and basic mathematical operations, students will learn how to apply logical thinking to problem-solving.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Build a strong foundation in coding.
2. Learn to think logically and solve problems creatively.
3. Easy and fun introduction to programming.

Platform: Code.org
In this module, students will learn app building, starting from simple designs and slowly progressing to developing full applications from scratch. They will explore how apps operate and learn how to design them. This module emphasizes working on building real-world problem-solving skills.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Learn to build real apps from scratch.
2. Understand how applications work and how to design them.
3. Develop problem-solving skills and creativity.

Platform: Tinkercad
Students will enter into the wondrous world of 3D modeling by creating shapes and objects in a virtual environment. This kind of hands-on experience translates into high degrees of applicability for job sectors like architecture, engineering, and video game design. Learning how to design in 3D will be an asset for students as it enhances spatial awareness and creativity.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Learn how to design 3D images and objects.
2. Develop spatial and engineering thinking.
3. Hands-on projects that stir and energize creativity.

Platform: Scratch
Scratch is a popular platform offering a visual, drag-and-drop coding environment that makes it easy and fun for kids to learn programming. In this module, children will create animations, and interactive stories in a creative environment. This is the most common and widely used game based programming platform for coding for kids.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Easiest way to introduce coding using visual blocks.
2. Make fun games and animations.
3. Develop logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Platform: Scratch
This module introduces students to game development by teaching them how to design characters, set game rules, and bring their creative ideas to life. By the end of this module, students will be able to create their own interactive game while learning essential elements of game mechanics and animation.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Develop your own interactive games.
2. Learn about Game Design, Animation, and Game Mechanics.
3. Boost creativity and logical thinking.

Platform: Edu Blocks
This module introduces kids to Python programming through a visual, block-based approach. Students will learn essential and fundamental coding concepts such as loops, functions, and variables. It bridges the gap between visual and text-based coding for kids through a smooth transition to Python coding.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Easy and interactive introduction to Python with visual blocks.
2. Understand important programming concepts like loops, functions, and variables.
3. Build confidence and skills to prepare for text-based coding.

Platform: Pictoblox
This module will introduce students to the field of AI as simply and interactively as possible. We will see how AI is applied in reality and work towards exciting projects like using AI to develop smart games and robots. The hands-on activities will teach students how machines "think" and give an understanding of the decision-making process.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Learn the basics of AI and its use in the real world.
2. Build cool projects such as games and robots.
3. Solve problems using creative thinking skills.

Platform: Machine Learning For Kids
In this module, students will explore the exciting world of Machine Learning and understand the basics of how computers learn from data to make decisions. They’ll work on simple projects to understand how machines can "think" and solve problems, introducing them to one of today's most exciting technologies.
Key Learning Outcomes
1. Understand how machine learning works.
2. Create projects that teach machines to learn.
3. Fun and interactive introduction to an important field in tech.
